Thai eVisa Online

Starting from 27 September 2021, Thailand’s E-Visa Stickerless Application will be in effect. Consequently, foreign nationals residing in the UK or Ireland who intend to apply for a Thai visa must use the new online e-Visa platform available at http://thaievisa.go.th. Importantly, the physical submission of passports and original supporting documents at the Royal Thai Embassy, London, is no longer necessary.

It is essential to ensure that all information, especially names, e-mails, and passport numbers, is accurate as the Embassy cannot edit them after payment, and payments are non-refundable. In case of any errors, applicants will have to take full responsibility for their applications, which the Embassy will have to reject. Therefore, to avoid wasting time and money, it is advisable to double-check all personal information and spellings before submitting the e-Visa application.

Upon approval of the e-Visa application, applicants will receive a confirmation e-mail. It is crucial to check the e-mail account submitted to avoid any processing delays or errors. The Embassy requests applicants to print a copy of the confirmation e-mail to present to the airline and Thai immigration officials when traveling to Thailand.

Likewise to ensure prompt processing of visa applications. It is recommended to apply in advance and allow five to fifteen working days for the Embassy to proceed. Additionally, applicants should also anticipate requests for further documents if necessary.

For urgent inquiries regarding visa applications, please contact the Embassy by sending an email to visa@thaiembassyuk.org.uk.
