Thai Tourist Visa

 

When applying for a Thai visa, there are three main types of visas to consider: “TR”, “METV”, and “MT”. The “TR” visa is for applicants who plan to visit Thailand for tourism purposes. If an applicant wishes to make multiple trips to Thailand for tourism purposes. Then the “METV” visa is the appropriate choice. On the other hand, the “MT” visa is for those seeking medical treatment at hospitals or medical facilities in Thailand.

To apply for any of these visas, there are several documents that applicants must submit. These include a completed visa application form, a passport with at least six months of validity, a recent photograph, and evidence of travel to and from Thailand, such as a confirmed air ticket. Different Visa

 

For the “METV” visa, a bank statement for the last six months, a travel itinerary, and employment letter may be necessary. Likewise those applying for the “MT” visa must provide a letter from the hospital or medical facility in Thailand indicating the medical purpose and duration of treatment.

Additionally the visa processing fee is $40 for a single entry visa and $200 for a METV. Likewise the visa is valid for three months for a single entry visa and six months for a multiple entry visa, and travelers are allowed to stay in Thailand for up to 60 days. Non-Immigrant Visa O-A

 

Likewise this type of visa is issued to applicants aged 50 years and over who wish to stay in Thailand for a period of not exceeding 1 year without the intention of working. Additionally to be eligible for this visa, applicants must be aged 50 years and over on the day of submitting their application, not prohibited from entering Thailand, have no criminal record in Thailand and the country of the applicant’s nationality or residence, have the nationality of or residence in the country where the applicant’s application is submitted, and not have prohibitive diseases. Likewise the visa is valid for multiple entries and becomes effective from the date of issuance.

Additionally yo apply, applicants need to provide several required documents, including their passport or travel document, visa application form, medical certificate, passport-size photographs, bank statement, and a letter of verification stating that the applicant has no criminal record. Applicants must also obtain health insurance with a coverage of not less than 100,000 USD or 3,000,000 THB. When you enter Thailand

 

Additionally upon arrival in Thailand, holders of this visa will be permitted to stay in the country for one year from the date of first entry. During this period, they may apply for a re-entry permit if they wish to leave and re-enter the country. They must report to the immigration officer in their residence area every 90 days during their stay in Thailand.

To extend their stay, they must submit a request for extension of stay at the Office of the Immigration Bureau and provide documented evidence of money transfer or a deposit account in Thailand or an income certificate showing an amount of not less than 800,000 Baht or an income certificate plus a deposit account showing a total amount of not less than 800,000 Baht. Apply for a Birth Certificate

 

To apply for a birth certificate, there are several required documents that must be submitted. First, the applicant must provide a Birth Certificate Application, along with the original Russian birth certificate issued by local authorities and a copy. Additionally, the Thai national ID card and/or valid passport of both parents are required, each with an original and one copy, and the Thai house registration of both parents (or a parent) with one copy of each person’s. The parents’ marriage certificate, either Thai or Russian issued, must also be included with an original and one copy. A passport-sized colour photograph of the child is needed as well as a document proving the relationship between the child and their parents.

In certain cases, additional documents are necessary, such as a statement of intention for parents who are not married and wish to have their child take on the father’s surname or a statement of intention for parents who are married and wish to have the child take on the mother’s surname. It is important to note that there are no fees associated with applying for a birth certificate.

Processing of the documents takes five business days, and they can be submitted at the Royal Thai Embassy during business hours, from 9am to 12pm. The documents can be picked up between the hours of 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM.

 

 

Marriage Certificate

The Royal Thai Embassy in Moscow offers marriage certificates to Thai citizens residing in Russia. However, there are certain criteria that must be met. Firstly, the couple must come in person to the Royal Thai Embassy in Moscow to apply for the marriage certificate. At least one of the applicants must be a Thai citizen. If the husband is not a Thai citizen, an affidavit proving that he is single and proof of income from his employer must be presented.

Additionally, both applicants must be at least 17 years old. Likewise if either applicant is underage, their parent or legal guardian must sign on their behalf. Moreover if either applicant has been previously married. Then they must provide a divorce certificate. Note that if the wife has previously been married and has finalized a divorce, her passport and other civil registration documents must be changed back to her maiden name before she can apply for a new marriage certificate (if the previous marriage was before June 5th, 2003).

 

Additional Requirements

 

Furthermore, the divorce must be finalized for at least 310 days, unless the woman has already given birth to a child within the 310 days, has a note from her physician verifying that she is not pregnant, or has a court order from Thailand allowing the marriage before the 310-day period.

In terms of necessary documentation, an appointment request must be made via phone or email. The application for a marriage certificate, along with the Thai national ID card and/or valid passport (of both spouses) and Thai house registration which has the 13 digit ID number of the individual applying must be provided. There are no fees associated with applying for a marriage certificate.

Once all the necessary documentation has been gathered, an appointment must be made with the Royal Thai Embassy in Moscow at least 5 business days in advance. Upon receiving a confirmation of the appointment, both parties that make up the couple must present the original copies of the required documents at the Royal Thai Embassy at the time and date determined by the staff on the day of appointment/issuance of the marriage certificate. Legalisation in Moscow

 

  • Before applying for legalisation of documents:

It is important to note that documents must be translated to English, notarised by a Russian notary officer within the Russian Federation, and certified by the Russian Ministry of Justice (located at Zhitnaya st, 14 in Moscow), followed by the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (located at 1-st Neopalimovskiy lane, 12).

  • General Information:

The Royal Thai Embassy is authorised to legalise documents that have the Seal of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. Note that it does not accept Apostilles, in accordance with regulations issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.   • Required documents:

To apply for legalisation. You will need to provide the original and one copy of your passport or ID card, a filled-out legalization application. Also the originals and copies of each page of the document that requires authentication.

Please note that the Royal Thai Embassy does not assist in issuing Power of Attorney to foreign nationals. Nor does it certify any kind of foreign national’s signature.

  • Processing fee:

You can book your appointment online through the Embassy’s website during available time. Note that the service fee is 15 USD in cash per one seal. Please be advised that only cash payments in USD will be accepted.

  • Submission:

Applications can be submitted from 9am until 12pm Monday–Friday, excluding Embassy holidays.

  • Documents collection:

Applying for Thai Passport

 

Regarding Thai passports, they are currently made according to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards, where passport holder biometrics are recorded on a microchip and embedded in the passport, using facial information for Thai passports. There are two types of passports available: those valid for less than 5 years and those valid for less than 10 years.

To apply for a passport, individuals must be legal long-term residents of Russia/Belarus/Armenia/Uzbekistan/Moldova, and must travel in person to the embassy to have their photographs and fingerprints recorded. Individuals who have reached the age of majority can apply for a passport with a validity period of not more than 5 years or 10 years, while those without a household registration or ID card can only apply for a passport valid for less than 5 years. Those who come to Russia on a tourist visa must return to Thailand to apply for a new passport.

To apply for a passport. You must submit the request and supporting documents to the embassy via email to make an appointment. The production and delivery of passports takes about 4-6 weeks. This from the date of submission of the application at the embassy. Supporting documents for passport applications include a passport application form. Likewise a current passport or Thai birth certificate. Additionally a valid ID card, documents showing legal residence, and the necessary fee. For minors under 20 years old. Additional documents such as a Thai birth certificate, Thai identification card, house registration, and parental documents are required. Also a minor must apply in person at the embassy with their parents present to sign the necessary consent forms.

The fees for passports are US$35 for those valid for less than 5 years and US$50 for those valid for less than 10 years. Embassy fees accept only US dollar cash in good condition.
