Thai Passport

(Passport lost in Guangdong and Hainan)

Firstly, report the lost passport to the local police. Then, bring the report to the immigration office of the city where the passport was lost in order for the Immigration Division to issue a notification certificate. After obtaining the notification certificate, bring it to the Consulate General in Guangzhou to obtain a Certificate of Identity (CI). Once you have the CI and the notification issued by the Immigration Division, proceed to apply for an outbound visa at the immigration office of the city where the report was filed. These documents will be required for traveling back to Thailand.
Apply for a new passport

When minors are involved, parents must accompany them to the Consulate General to provide consent. Furthermore, parents need to bring the applicant’s birth certificate or ID card, the marriage certificate of the parents, as well as the passports, identity cards, and house registration documents of both the father and mother.

For individuals who is an adult it is important to bring their ID card and passport that is nearing expiration. It is recommended to apply for a new passport within six months before the current one expires.
